Details: I’ve acquired a lot of knowledge and vital skills during the summers where I worked at my father’s dry cleaning company as a cashier. During the time as a cashier I learned how to always treat customers like your boss because they are the reason why you are in business. I also learned how to be professional in what ever I am doing whether it was being on time for your shift or making sure the store was clean and neat. By watching how my dad ran his business I now understand what and how much it takes to run a company. The skills I learned during this time will help me in other jobs I take on as well any other future employments after college.

also acquired a great amount of knowledge and skills during a summer engineering camp called the National Youth Leadership Forum. Over the summer this week long event took place at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I was living on campus, with a roommate, for a week just like a regular college student. Everyday we would complete fun engineering activities and projects to get us familiar with future tasks of engineers. We would also listen to highly educated and prosperous professors in their fields explain what they do as an engineer. This week long experience I tried to be a sponge and soak up all the information I could from the various events. This week really confirmed my interest in STEM related professions. I also got to meet new people from not only all around the nation but even some international students.
